
Timo Pauler new CFO of Kindernothilfe


(Duisburg, 6 January 2026) Timo Pauler (46) joined the Executive Board at Kindernothilfe as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on 1 January 2026. The business economist takes over from Jürgen Borchardt, who left the organisation at the end of October 2024 for reasons of age.
With Timo Pauler, Kindernothilfe gains an experienced expert with proven competence in financial management, strategic planning and diversity management. Most recently, he was Managing Director and Deputy Secretary General of the Vereinte Evangelische Mission (VEM; translated: United Protestant Mission) in Wuppertal since April 2016.
"I am looking forward to my new role at Kindernothilfe. For me, diversity is a key factor in finding innovative and sustainable solutions. Together with my colleagues, I would like to further strengthen the financial basis of the organisation in order to secure and promote children's rights worldwide in the long term," said Pauler.
With the appointment of Timo Pauler, the three-member Executive Board of Kindernothilfe is now complete. In addition to Pauler, it includes CEO Katrin Weidemann and CPO Carsten Montag.
