KNH at COP30 Climate Change Conference

Heat, flooding and environmental destruction are denying millions of children and young people worldwide their rights to health, education and a secure future. At the COP30 Climate Change Conference in Belém, Brazil, KNH (Kindernothilfe) is campaigning for the rights and prospects of children and young people to be recognised as a central component of international climate policy. After all, protecting the future means protecting the youngest memebers of our society.

In collaboration with partner organisations and young people from project countries around the world, KNH amplifies the voices of those most affected, yet least heard. We demand that the climate crisis be recognised as a children's rights issue, and that children and young people be actively involved in finding solutions. Their participation is not optional, but essential for fair and sustainable responses to the climate crisis.
