KNH Zimbabwe

Together for a Healthy and Protected Childhood

In Zimbabwe, KNH works with local partners to protect children’s rights and strengthen families facing the challenges of poverty, violence, and the impact of HIV and AIDS. Our projects focus on education and awareness to prevent new infections and on providing medical and psychological support for affected families. By promoting sustainable agriculture, alternative income opportunities, and strong women’s self-help groups, we help communities create safer, healthier living conditions for their children. Through child protection services and rights-based programs, we ensure that children who experience violence receive support and learn how to advocate for themselves.

Families receive training in sustainable farming methods and are supported in developing new income sources. This enables them to better provide for their children and build stability in the face of economic hardship.

We provide essential awareness programs to curb the spread of HIV and AIDS and offer both medical and psychosocial support to children and families affected by the disease. These initiatives strengthen resilience and help families cope with the long-term impacts of the illness.
