KNH Ethiopia

Together for Children's Rights in Ethiopia

KNH and its partner organisations are committed to empowering children and protecting their rights in Ethiopia. Through education, community development, and humanitarian support, we work to ensure that every child — especially those facing hardship — can grow up healthy, safe, and with hope for the future. Our projects focus on sustainable change by strengthening families and communities, promoting equality, and building resilience in times of crisis. In times of drought, we also provide quick help and stability.

We support children’s access to quality education and vocational training, helping them build the skills they need for a self-determined life. Through community-based programs and self-help groups, we especially empower girls and women to take active roles in shaping their future.

We support families with better farming methods, clean drinking water, and healthy food. By strengthening local livelihoods, we help families provide for their children and improve overall health and well-being.

KNH stands with children in particularly difficult circumstances — including children with disabilities, those living on the streets or working children. We strive to ensure that all children are respected, included, and able to live as equal members of their families and communities.
